Here is something I dug up.
It was a un-finished sketch which I drew out & cleaned up & colored.

Took a little break from all that cheesecake.

I'm asking for advance critique on this one, but...
ARTISTIC CRITIQUES ONLY!!
I don't care if you think I didn't get the 'feel' of the character.
Just tell me how you think it looks. Good & bad. I can take it.

:) I love the Tick and his catchphrase!
The leaping pose is great! and I like the shading and highlights, but they look a little odd on his left hand. ... Though, I know very little about shading. :P

There are a couple of parts that kinda look a bit strange, namely the left hand, the right upper leg, and (just to me probably) something with the head. But honestly, I like it. The coloring is very well done, musculature is pretty cool too.

Well... the left hand is bigger than the right, and I believe (my opinion) that the shadows are hinding too much of the shape of the leg, making it look funny.

The head... well, he's got a BIG HEAD.

What can i say that hasn't been said before.

The tone is good. The comic version of the tick was
always a darker blue than the one they showed on
the cartoon... so cheers for stickin with the orginal.

Also, I really liked how you did the mouth... that was
always the hardest part when I tried to do him.

I had originally done the lighter blue, but it didn’t feel right. The dark blue was an accident. I had filled the whole screen with the shadow color of the lighter blue. When I saw the dark color, then I knew “This is it! This is the way it’s suppose to be!”

can you change the background that you used... its good, but I wouldn't mind seeing the tick jumping through
famous parts of the world... like the pyramids of egypt....or the san diego bridge.

hell, maybe even dallas texas.

just as a suggestion.
